It was one of the most massive royal aircraft, which played an important role in the Battle of Britain, when the Nazi German Air Force tried to win the air to get the opportunity to realize the land invasion of the UK. According to scientists, Harrikein was easy to manage a plane and at the same time very reliable. Although many Soviet pilots, judging by historical records, considered these planes insufficiently powerful, insufficiently armed and insufficiently protected.

By the end of the Second World War, these planes were already considered outdated, and therefore they were used mainly for the defeat of air defense. According to scientists, 8 found British aircraft were used to protect large transport units, especially railway stations. In 3 years, from 1941 to 1944, the United Kingdom handed over about 3,000 Harrykane aircraft. But most of them were either destroyed in battle or disassembled for spare parts.

Some of these aircraft were specifically dismantled and buried in the land after World War II, so as not to pay the United States. The fact is that under the Land League Law, the USSR had to pay for any military equipment that remained whole. Experts believe that now there are only 14 renovated Harrykane aircraft in the world that can still fly.
