Changes to mobilization rules: The Ministry of Defense reported the specialties required in the Armed Forces

Deputy Minister of Defense Natalia Kalmykova told whom they were recruited first through recruitment companies, as well as whether it is possible to get acquainted with the total volume of the needs of the Armed Forces. In Ukraine, draft laws are being prepared with changes to the mobilization rules. The start of the new year should be clarified about mobilization in 2024.

At the same time, some changes are already underway in the country, for example, the digitalization of military medical commissions (VLK). Focus also reported that recruiting companies joined the conscription. Deputy Minister of Defense Natalia Kalmykova told NV, what specialties are recruiting for the Armed Forces now, and what is affected by recruiting. From the beginning of 2022, the first recruitment companies began to operate to find specialists in the right positions.

From the fall of 2023 the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine began negotiation, and officially signed a contract first with Lobby X and then with work. ua and robota. ua, which also began to place vacancies from military units. According to Kalmykova, the mobilization in Ukraine is regulated by law. For the call, it is necessary to clarify personal information, to check the availability of the right to deferral and suitability for military service on the order of the Ministry of Defense No. 402.

According to the Minister of Deputy Minister, for the verification of personal data and the availability of deferral, authorized representatives presents summaries of data. Upon receipt of the summons, the head of the Tax Code may send the military commission to the military. If a person has chronic diseases, VLK doctors are sent for additional examination. According to the decision of the VLK, the military may be mobilized. Therefore, it will be sent to the training center in the specialty.

For a shooter, a minimum of one month lasts. If a position or specialty is different - training can last up to three months or be done abroad. It also depends on the military experience of the mobilized. The Deputy Minister of Defense explained that all specialties needed for the ranks of the Defense Forces. Due to recruiting companies, men are recruiting all specialties, from the assault to UAV operators, but the entire volume of the needs of the Armed Forces is classified.

"I would not like to separate, because experts need different. I will not be able to say what they need more, because it is information that is a secret. But I would like to note that they respond to the vacancies of both UAV operator and on vacancies of stormtroopers.

(…) I will say so-in order to draw conclusions about how relevant this or that specialty among the jobseers and among those people who make the choice of involvement in the Armed Forces, we need to work a month or two to gather statistics, "she explained.
