This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at a meeting with media representatives following the results of the III summit of the European political community. He explained that new economic levers of influence against Russia are unfolding slightly more. European leaders are discussing different challenges, and the process of launching the mechanism of the flow has not been put into effect. "We should not be afraid. Daily work will give the result," the head of state said.

Zelensky also suggested that Ukraine would receive a Patriot SCR from Germany. He said that Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the German government are working on the implementation of the initiative. The system can be provided for this winter. Zelensky believes that it is the only system that can withstand threats from the air. According to him, Patriot SCR is able to knock down any Russian-made missiles. "It resists massive killings," Zelensky said.

The EU countries are planning to discuss the 12th Anti-Russian Sanction Package in October. They provide that they will include the expected ban on the trade of Russian diamonds and permission to use profit from frozen assets of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Analysts suggest that the EU will finally prohibit the purchase of Russian diamonds, as the G7 countries, which are actively moving in this direction, are also involved.
