Putin did not want to go to the Kherson region after the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station - Peskov

According to the spokesman of the President of the Russian Federation, the head of state constantly receives reports from the zone of disaster, but he does not plan to go there. Volodymyr Putin, the President of Russia, at the moment does not intend to organize a meeting in the Kherson region after the blast of the Dams of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station and further flooding of the territories. This was stated on Thursday, June 8, by Russian President Dmitry Peskov, RIA Novosti reports.

"There are no such plans at this time," Peskov said, answering journalists' questions if Putin has plans to hold an operational headquarters meeting near the disaster zone. At the same time, the presidential spokesman stated that Putin was constantly receiving reports on the situation in the occupied part of the Kherson region. "The reports are constantly coming. The groups are unfolding there. Our rescuers work selflessly," Peskov said.

We will remind, on June 8 it was reported that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited a crossing in Kherson, where people from flooded territories were evacuated. There he held a coordination meeting on elimination of the consequences of the blast of the Dams of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant. Immediately after the head of state, the Russian invaders began to fire Kherson. Often, the Russians were beating in places where people from the disaster zone were evacuated.
