Elusive for the enemy and indispensable on the front: The Armed Forces use themis robots (video)

Terrestrial drones on a tracked course are able to carry heavy loads, even in the area where military trucks cannot pass in the "dirt season". They destroy mines, clear routes and evacuate the wounded from the battlefield: all this is done by unmanned terrestrial robotic Themis platforms, thereby preserving the Ukrainian military in the war zone. This was reported on the website of drones manufacturers - Estonian company Milrem Robotics. 14 TheMIS unmanned devices were put in Ukraine.

Seven of them are used to transport goods and evacuate the wounded, while others are provided with a amount of load for mine and clearing routes. These vehicles can be driven at a distance that allows soldiers to perform tasks in safe conditions. "Evacuation of wounded and demining routes - two time -consuming activities, during which soldiers who perform these tasks immediately become targets for the enemy.

UGV, on the other hand, can be managed at a distance, keeping soldiers in a safe place," Yuri said, "Yuri said The soldier, which is responsible for the Ukrainian program in Milrem Robotics. TEHEMIS land drones are also used by sappers for transportation of anti -tank mines, which allows to speed up mining. Works can also be used to replenish stocks in hard -to -reach areas where heavy trucks are stuck. In addition, the small size and low height of drones complicate their detection by the enemy.

Milrem Robotics is a leading developer and system integrator of robotics and autonomous systems in Europe. The company is known for its unmanned aerial vehicles of TheMIS and Multiscope, as well as a robotic Type-X fighting machine and a set of autonomous MIFIK. The company has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Ukraine, which will allow it to develop new products and integrate Ukraine's experience in the battlefield into existing robotic systems.

In addition, the parties will study the possibility of production in Ukraine themis Combat (with HMG and anti -tank capabilities), Combat Engineering (detection of mines and demining), unmanned Casevac and other Milrem Robotics. The task of the work of themis Combat Support is to transport ammunition to the anti-tank group and to provide it with fire support with a 7. 62 mm machine gun.

In addition to the fighting characteristics of enemy artillery, the drone also performs the functions of a fire safety monitor. And in September 2023 it became known that robots were armed with combat drones. In the renewed design, themis is able to run the drones of Kamikadze Halcon Hunter 2-S. These are autonomous drones equipped with advanced artificial intelligence to perform coordinated tasks in a pack.

They are able to follow the flight plan, coordinate their actions with other drones and recognize hostile goals for destruction. Hunter 2-S has a payload of 2 kg, cruising height of 500 m, cruising speed 90 km/h and margin of 45 minutes. Themis Cargo Casevac provides rapid evacuation of victims from the place of injury to high -level health facilities. This reduces the need for workforce, which is commonly used to evacuate the wounded.

Recall that in early December 2023 it became known that Ukroboronprom and Estonian Milrem Robotics will develop robots together. The main purpose of cooperation with the Ukrainian developer considers the safety of fighters and at the same time giving a stronger and more asymmetrical impact on the forces of the aggressor. And in the second half of September 2023, we wrote that themis robots were armed with combat drones.
