To spread: In Myanmar in the Bhamo region, the FPV-Drone guerrillas with a fugas warhead shot down the Mi-17 Hunta Helicopter. About it reports Defense. blog. The incident occurred on May 21 during a mission to replenish reserves near Bhamo, where fierce fighting between the forces of junta and guerrilla groups continue. The latter were knocked down by Mi-17 helicopter owned by the Myanmar Military. The attack was carried out with the help of fiber optic FPV-aroma, armed with a fugas warhead.

According to local sources, the Army of Independence Kacina was ambushed when government troops tried to deliver supplies to the surrounding 21st military operational unit, which was cut off from the Earth. The only way of supplying is airy. Two helicopters participated in a logistics operation over the disputed territory. One Mi-17 was shot down and later crashed in a neighboring wooded area. The second - was forced to carry out emergency landing near the outskirts of Bhamo.

There is no confirmed reports of victims by the second helicopter. "This blow reflects the previous Ukrainian achievement, which is widely considered the first in the world when the FPV drone was used to beat the helicopter in flight," the newspaper writes. The Army of Independence Kacina is one of the most capable resistance groups in the north of Myanmar, and is increasingly relying on unconventional strategies and high -precision weapons in its fight against the forces of junta.

The use of FPV -driven drones, which are guided in real time and are able to deliver accurate, destructive useful loads, has created new vulnerability for helicopters that operate in low -height hostilities. The helicopter's military Myanmar was not officially commented. However, visual evidence and reports from the scene confirm the destruction of one aircraft and a forced landing of another.
