15 years for captivity: in Russia, the first sentence for voluntary surrender of the Armed Forces was issued

The prosecutor's office demanded 16 years in prison, but the defense insisted on full justification, claiming that the fault was not proven. Ivanyshyn himself denied his own guilt during the court. This case became the first known sentence under the new article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for liability for voluntary delivery.
