It should be reminded that vulnerability in Kherson and Luhansk region can force the Russian Federation to go for the withdrawal of troops from the south of Ukraine. According to ISW estimates, Russian troops may not have enough units to keep Bakhmut. It was also reported that Russian troops celebrate the victory on the Left Bank of the Dnieper, but there is no evidence of military success.
In turn, military researchers with ISW believe that the Russian military command fears the counter -offensive of Ukraine. The artillery of the DShV brigade has destroyed the ammunition composition in the Bakhmut area. The Russians remained without a significant stock of ammunition through the work of fighters of the 77th separate airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces Airborne Assault Troops. Recall that the US and Japan are creating a new military alliance.
