The post with Gorbenko's address appeared in the evening on June 17. The eccomander appealed to his previously subordinated fighters with the words of gratitude "for service, trust and support. " He also mentioned the fallen and wished the wounded recovery.

The post signed by Lieutenant General's name does not indicate the reason why he leaves the commander's position. On May 15, the State Bureau of Investigation announced the opening of criminal proceedings on the actions of military people suspected of improper protection of positions. The possible punishment for this charge is up to 10 years in prison. Due to the "negligent attitude to the service", as stated in the order of the Lenin district court of Kharkiv, the enemy was able to break through the defense line on May 10-11.

It was then that the offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began and the enemy managed to move in some sections at a distance of 3 to 10 km. It is suspected that 125 brigades left positions unauthorized, in addition, they did not take away military equipment. The defense had to be carried out by the second echelon, which was detained by the Russians, is reported in explanation of investigators. The number of suspects is known - 28 people.
