In addition, the promotion of the invaders in the area of the village of Maximilyanivka of the Pokrovsky district was recorded. According to the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of October 17, 45 storm and offensive actions were carried out in the Pokrovsky direction during the day. The greatest activity of Russian troops is observed in the areas of dry beam, Luch, Dry Yar, Novotoretske, Mikhailivka, Lisivka and Selidovo.
Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 35 attacks in this direction, and 10 more combat clashes are ongoing. Eight combat clashes took place in the Kramatorsk direction. The invaders were active in the districts of Grigorivka, Minkivka, Temporal Yar and Ivanovsky. The Ukrainian military stopped seven attempts by the enemy to improve their positions.
