Light for selected and other fakes. What special operations of the Russian Federation try to weaken Ukrainian energy

Energy is an extremely favorable field for enemy IPSO, writes economist Andrian Prokip. In his opinion, to prevent this, to be honest with himself and to tell the truth about problems in energy and the possibility of solving them. Energy - a favorable field for enemy IPSO today Dmitry Tuzhansky published a post, as in the morning the Russians launched another IPSO for inciting interethnic feud between Ukrainians and Hungarians.

After all, nothing new, because information operations, in particular with the use of hostile agents, are one of the key methods of the enemy in war. But once again, it thought that energy is one of the key areas for them to carry out IPSO. Information operations were paid with fire infrastructure shelling. This is not mentioned that in the past, energy has been subjected to cyberattacks, some of which have led to large -scale shutdowns, as it was with some power companies and Ukrenergo in 2016.

The recent Washington Post material, which was about large -scale Russian IPSO, did not do without energy, which also tried to split society and sow distrust. At the same time, the information campaign began before mass shelling of electricity infrastructure. The main messages and narratives mentioned in the material: it is clear that not all the methods of IPSO in energy have got to the Washington Post materials.

In particular, there is no mention of a campaign that was launched on social networks in the winter of 2022-2023, when the army of bots dispersed the message that it seems that it was not at all shelling. Exporting electricity to Europe, and therefore reduces deliveries for the population and enterprises. The same bots called for mass protests. The Russians have always tried to split society and the country because of IPSO.

To make only a card with three varieties of Ukrainians before the 2004 elections. Lies that they are chosen that will not be switched off - just one example of trying to split. The shelling and shutdowns were to sow despair. And IPSO had to override distrust. We had to feel devastated, doomed and deceived. Well, then the enemy failed, but they did not stop (and now they did not stop).

I wrote about another attempt to bring a split on the basis of energy and shelling problems a few weeks ago, when there was an activation of strokes in energy infrastructure in the frontal regions, especially Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv region. If there are serious difficulties with electricity in frontline regions, and in other regions there are none, then it is worth expecting to be expected to try to digest the rear and frontal regions.

The problem is that the issue of energy we have always been a favorable ground for manipulation. Most citizens have always believed that tariffs are unfair, and owners or beneficiaries of energy companies are profitable on consumers (and here also appeared adherents of total nationalization). Of course, in such circumstances, a citizen will easily believe that there is a secret plan as a little Ukrainian, they want to blame.

Unfortunately, decades of populist accusations from individual politicians could not pass without a trace. Energy issues have become very sensitive to many segments of the population, and therefore made it a fertile ground for cushions. Recently, when the government has abolished the moratorium on consumer disconnections for debt, this topic began to shake numerous non -authoritative sites in us.

Traditional were the messages that the oligarchs are making money and the government is without the powerless. Between the lines, again there were calls for protest. But it is interesting that the same topic was raised by the Zaporizer of the media, which suggested that the enemy forces are put to the IPSO in our information field. Sometimes it happened that the interests of hostile IPSO coincided with the interests of individual players in Ukraine.

For example, if it was a state control at Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta, it is natural that the Ukrainian owner of this asset was also interested in information tours. These could be, for example, the ineffective management of nationalized assets. There are more than enough in the problem of problems. There were many of them before the invasion, but large -scale hostilities and the enemy campaign of energy terror only deepened the problems. And this simplifies the possibilities for manipulation.

After all, when there are problems, it is much easier to twist the facts about the causes of these problems. Running an enemy information campaign in an empty place for a long time, expensive and difficult. And naturally, they monitor all the processes that we have. This is very well visible even in their industry media, where information about our energy sector is supplied quickly and often with the required distortion.
