Continuous series of strikes: the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attack the power system more often than last year - "Ukrenergo"

According to the chairman of the board of the company Vladimir Kudrytsky, the number of running UAVs has already compared to the one, which was recorded during the previous heating season. Russian invaders have recently been carefully attacking the peaceful cities of Ukraine. Both civil objects and critical infrastructure become the region of the enemy. Vladimir Kudrytsky, the chairman of the board of NEC "Ukrenergo", shared the details during a press conference on April 4.

According to him, if you compare Russian terror with last year's series of massive blows through the energy system, the intensity has increased significantly. "The intensity of the shelling increased. In the last heating season we watched one massive attack in one or two weeks-and it was either a missile or a" shamed "attack. Now it is a series, almost continuous," said Vladimir Kudrytsky.

Ukrenergo states that for incomplete one and a half decades from the moment of recovery of massive attacks by shock drones, which are trying to strike Ukrainian infrastructure, their number has already been compared to those UAVs that were launched throughout the heating season 2022/2023 throughout the heating season. Currently, damage to a large amount of thermal and hydroelectric power plants is being fixed, which as a result has a negative effect on the entire system.

Energy is actively working to restore damage, virtually without stopping. Also, Ukrenergo is now calculating all the scenarios of the future heating season. "Even where there are no restrictions on power consumption, we still try to restore as much equipment as possible to increase the reliability and stability of these regions to the possible future attacks of the enemy," - summed up Vladimir Kudrytsky.

We will remind, on April 3 it was reported that due to enemy attacks DTEK lost most of the generating capacity. Five of the six TPPs were seriously damaged. In addition, bad weather led to the light. On April 1, it was reported that almost all energy infrastructure was destroyed in Kharkiv, as stated by Mayor Igor Terekhov. According to him, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has been firing the city for more than two years, but it continues to function.
