Together with Zaluzhny: the VLK has declared unsuitable ex-chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Shaptal-the media

The Ministry of Defense has not yet answered the questions of journalists of "UP" on the conclusion of medical commission on the state of health of Lieutenant General Sergey Shaptala. Former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General, Sergey Shaptala received the conclusion of the Military Medical Commission. In conclusion, it is stated that his health makes him unfit for service in the army.

About the situation of Shaptal was told on the portal of the publication "Ukrainian Pravda". The journalists of the publication claim that they received information about the extestation from two anonymous sources from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Both interlocutors are convinced that the VLK has declared the hatma unusable. Other details of the commission's decision are unknown. The UP indicates that they have addressed the corresponding comment to the Ministry of Defense.

The answers have not been received yet. Sergiy Shaptala-51-year-old Lieutenant-General of the Armed Forces (today retired today), which in the first years of hybrid invasion of the Russian Federation in the Donbas fought in Donetsk region. In 2015, he became the hero of Ukraine - the award was presented by President Petro Poroshenko for the fighting near Debaltsev.

The officer commanded the South and West Group, and on July 28, 2021 he became the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces on the submission of President Vladimir Zelensky. It should be noted that on February 8, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced his dismissal from the post of commander -in -chief Valery Zaluzhny. The new commander-in-chief was Lieutenant General Alexander Sirsky. On March 8, the President announced the new appointment of the former head.

Zaluzhny will become the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom. The corresponding Agreman request has been sent to Britain: when they consent, the exponent will officially hold a new position. On March 9, the Mirror of the Week reported that Zaluzhny, after his resignation, could find himself in the structure of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Earlier, before Zelensky's statement about the post of ambassador, he passed the Military Medical Commission and was declared unsuitable for service. The anonymous interlocutors of the publication explained that the government had two problems about the eczeper. First, he has extensive experience in the service and could not find the appropriate place of work. Secondly, certain features of the Ukrainian legislation did not allow appointment.

In particular, it was not written anywhere who should be released-whether the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine or the President. The problems were solved for several weeks - which is why only in March Zaluzhny received the post of ambassador. We remind that after appointment, General Sirsky reported that he would conduct an audit of the Armed Forces and determine whether there are internal reserves in the army to strengthen the units on the front line.
