Video of the day is not that in the next few years everything suddenly got better. On the contrary, for most of the late 2000s and most of the 2010s, various groups of the Corps of the Islamic Revolution (Quir) and regular armed forces were still literally "quarreling" because of who will receive any engines and electronics that they managed to carry smuggling from abroad.
This was just as important because Iran has many Western embargoes and sanctions, and thus Western high technologies are always difficult to find (even if they are far from "impossible to get"). Undoubtedly, there were many ideas, and - despite the massive brain leakage - many good intentions and no less good UAV prototypes.
However, most of them were influenced by the combination of corruption and quarrel, and in general, the entire Iranian UAV industry, like most Iranian defense sector, moved to nowhere. Fatal Syria then happened some important events. Since 2011, Quir began military intervention in Syria. Due to the fears of the possible response of the event, it was a secret operation that needed a "minimal presence" of the Quirus in this country.
His "Expeditionary Corps"-Codus forces "Quir (Quir-SK)-attracted relatively few troops (maximum 3-4 battalions): in fact, most of them served as advisers of Assad regime and commanded and managed the selected troops of local militias. Managing relatively small units on a large battlefield required increased situational awareness: this requires good intelligence. So, the Quirus quickly began to unfold his tactical reconnaissance UAV Hesa Shahd-129 in Syria.
The first of them, as far as I remember, I saw in a video that appeared in 2012, and by 2014 they became a common sight in most of Western Syria, but especially in Damascus and Aleppo.
Strategic alliances by spending about $ 50 billion on attempts to save Assad from 2011 to 2014, however, without much success (as always, Bashar and his "near environment" were appropriated by most of the money, and the rest were spent either on a good PR or on the West or in the West or in the West or The loyalty of different warlords)-Quir-Sk was embarrassed by a series of defeat.
In 2015, this played an important role in persuading Putin to start military intervention in Syria, which was appropriate for the latter, as he has undergone international isolation after invasion of Ukraine. However, at that time, Quir wanted to achieve much more: he sought to establish a strategic relationship with Putin (that is, with Russia).
As always, the arrogant and short-sighted Putin (as well as Medvedev) not only said "no", but stopped exports of anti-aircraft missile complexes (SPRC) C-300 and several other weapons systems ordered by Iran (having initiated an international business that had to last for years and cause years significant financial damage to Moscow). At the same time, he insisted that the Russian military command and control everything in Syria.
As a result, as soon as the Russians began their operations in the country, they and the Assadists had their own battle; Quir-SK and his local allies are his own. The tension has increased so much that, according to rumors, the Iranians tried to overthrow Bashar, and only the Russian troops were prevented. Gradually, during 2017, they set up their relationship, and the Iranians accepted the Russians who pretend to be mediators in Syria.
Instead, they began to expect that their own semi -state would appear in the background. In the end, Putin has nothing to offer the desire of Quirus to convert the Syrians to the Shiite Two-Twetter religion with the help of jobs in Iranian cultural centers in Latakia, at ammunition factories in other parts of the country owned by Quiri, or with the help of free scholars in Iran. First of all, Putin No had far -reaching consequences for the strategic plan.
The Quir then turned to Beijing on a strategic partnership. It was arranged in weeks, sometime at the end of 2015 and early 2016, and since Iri (Islamic Republic of Iran) was filled with oil dollar, soon reached a level when the quality of relations between the Iran Iran and the Chinese People's Republic (China) was easily exceeded Between the China and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Over the next two years, Iran began not only the development, but also the real mass production and setting of a number of high -tech weapons systems. They varied from the great modernization of the old anti-aircraft missile systems (ZRK) of American and Soviet-Russian production before the emergence of completely new SCRs, some of which, as claimed, exceed the Russian C-300 and C-400-and before the appearance of numerous mature Blue systems/ BBL.
How? Undoubtedly, Iran has large technical universities that produce thousands of highly qualified scientists who publish a huge number of scientific works. So much so that it has caused some concern in Israel. Back in 2016-2018, Jerusalem Post began to express fear, such as "Whether Iran wins in a technological war. " Undoubtedly, Iri "inherited" a well-developed defense industry, bought in the United States since Shah, in the 1970s.
However, due to the futility of the Quiri regime, there is a massive brain leak: in fact, a huge amount of intellectual youth leaves the country. Corruption is endemic, and therefore no new project has a serious chance of implementation without significant political and financial support for various Quiri groups.
That is why the mass of local companies still produces, for example, cars based on technologies of the 1970s: it "works" because it helps to maintain the status quo between different groups. Moreover, many scientific articles published by Iranian scientists were either fakes or nothing more than copies of modern Western articles.
What really happened is that the Quirus used the most recently established links with the PRC and hired the Chinese not only for the mass transfer of know-how, but also for assistance in growing and strengthening-by the way-the Iranian UAV industry. It has played Beijing's hand, because if the Chinese clearly surpassed their Western and Russian competitors in the last 10 years, then it is in the field of client service.
They do not just offer their products: they offer products adapted to the customer's requirements, and if the customer is ready to cooperate at the appropriate level and solvent, Beijing has no problems for "ordering" state corporations, such as China Poly Group, China Electronic Technology Group (Cetc) and the 14th Institute "Share" something in the field of some of the most sensitive high technologies. In fact, to help the customer launch domestic production.
In this case, the agreement was relatively simple: in exchange for Iranian combat experience and structures, leading scientific institutions of China conducted research and development, and the Chinese industry then helped launch mass production in Iran. In other words, the PRC provided "full customer service" from assistance in determining the Iranian requirements to the actual commissioning of the arms systems obtained.
"Bonus" (from China's point of view): the latter requires constant use of high technologies "Made in China", which means that the Chinese can not only monitor Iranian production, but also monitor the latest combat experience and progress on further development. Profit is guaranteed for years ahead.
The only "conditions" that the Chinese demanded instead (except for payment, of course) were:-the lack of transferred know-how to third parties-the prohibition of Iri (in fact it is a Quirus) on a similar cooperation with any third country or instance-all The products of this cooperation are officially and persistently declared as "done in the IRI" (this is so true that even the factory plates "made in the IRA" (made in the PRC and there are installed).
The Chinese do not seek to spoil their commercial relations with the event or to experience embargo and sanctions for "cooperation with the exile state": after all, corporations such as Poly Group are engaged not only in military projects, but also . . . by the way-responsible for the import of such Western luxuries as Ferrari cars in the PRC.
Life after developing different Iranian concepts and structures, the Chinese took care of the transformation, reorganization and modernization of a number of factories in Iry. It was taken by different clicks inside the Quir She could get her share - and this is ahead, whereas earlier only a handful of groups received a profit from smuggling of Western production technologies from the UAE. In addition, the emirates were charged up to 300% of the market price for the equipment they supply.
In other words, the Chinese helped the Iranians to produce more sophisticated, more powerful UAVs and even at a lower price. Perhaps the best example of the results obtained is that while the Quiri-that is, the Iranian Defense Sector-could never develop a solution to transform their drone unmanned aerial vehic and to develop a minivan -copper -controlled ammunition (PGM) for them now the Iranian industry produces not only them in large quantities.
In fact, she is engaged in serial mini-PGM production. In this case, the Chinese started with the Iranian version of the American BGM-71 Tow, named Toophans to help develop Sadid-1. It was in 2017 (or so): in the meantime, Iranians are producing Air Earth-Earth missiles Sadidid-345, Sadidid-361 and Fat'H-362. Two or three years ago, they also demonstrated the air-air rocket based on the air-air-air-air-9 Sidewinder Air-Air-Air-Air-Air-Air (Next) the continuation will be published in the section.
