Greatly superior to si: analysts explained why the US would not be able to defeat China in the war

Govini's analytical experts consider US military AI weak, and advise the Pentagon to reduce the dependence on Chinese components. According to Govini's analytical company, China is ahead of the United States in the development of artificial intelligence. Experts believe that the US Army is unlikely to win the winner in the event of a conflict with the People's Liberation Army (NVAK), writes Breaking Defense.

The annual system of national security, developed by Govini, gives an assessment of the most important technologies, programs and defense industrial base of the United States, uses unique data sets, machine learning capabilities to collect and analyze strategic information. Recently, the company has presented a report that analyzed the 15 most important technological industries required for US defense.

During the recent briefing, Govini CEO, Tara Murphy Dogerti, said the US Department of Defense is still regarding the AI as a scientific project, and this is a great mistake for the military, she believes. According to the expert, if a military conflict explodes, then the AI in China will be a great advantage and the US victory will be impossible.

In the event of tensions between the two countries, China can harm the US by attacking the American energy network and destroying it from within, says Tara Dogerti. However, she noted that the Defense Ministry has every opportunity to accelerate the development of artificial intelligence technologies. She also advised the Pentagon to immediately take all the necessary steps to improve these opportunities.

According to Breaking Defense, the annual national security system mentions that China has more patents than the US, in the 13 most important technological industries. This is another proof of how the Asian country has advanced in recent years in the development of artificial intelligence.

Dogerti advised the Ministry of Defense to investigate and find answers to why it is lagging behind in the field of patents related to artificial intelligence, which is an indicator of innovation and then succeed in this respect. The report for 2024 also raises the problem of lack of components that the US defense suffers. It states that several key programs of the Ministry of Defense may be critical in the event of a conflict.

This is mainly due to the fact that the programs are relied on only one supplier of components, and it will take a long time to replace the parts. China's leadership in the global supply chain will be another major problem in the event of a conflict. Therefore, Dogerta advised the Pentagon to diversify suppliers and move the addiction on spare parts to more friendly countries.
