Military equipment and weapons cross the border of Poland despite the protests of farmers - Shmigal

According to the Ukrainian Prime Minister, there are no obstacles to military cargo on the border, and all cases are not true. At the same time, volunteer statements indicate the opposite. Polish farmers have continued protests at the border for a long time, but there is hope that the conflict between the parties will be able to settle. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal during a press conference.

According to him, since September last year, Ukraine has not exported Poland to wheat, corn, nor sunflower seeds, no other crop. Accordingly, the decision of the Polish farmers on border blockade is meaningless. "During the trip of the government team to the border, we offered Poland a plan of 5 clear steps to resolve the issue of blockade. At present, this plan is already being processed by the Polish side.

We expect to find a compromise with Poland in resolving the border crisis," Denis Shmigal said. Separately, the Prime Minister raised the question that weapons, military equipment and humanitarian aid could be blocked at the border. In reality, it is not true. All cargoes, says the head of the government, go to Ukraine without obstacles. "These cases that are loud in Telegram channels are not military equipment, it is commercial cars.

It is important that no cargo that is officially registered as military or humanitarian support has been detained," Denis Shmigal said. At the same time, Ukrainian volunteer Nazar Smyk, who lives in the United Kingdom, shared on his page on the social network X (formerly Twitter) with other information. He argued that Polish protesters blocked the movement of trucks that were intended for the Armed Forces. They had humanitarian assistance, military equipment and the necessary equipment.

"My trucks have been standing with military equipment under the border for 3 days, because they are not allowed ***** Polish peels. These photos are trucks that should go to artillerymen to quickly unload the ammunition into positions," the message reads. It turned out that the case is no longer the first. We will remind, on March 3 the situation was repeated and the volunteer wrote that Ukrainian trucks for the military stopped passing Polish farmers and 2 trucks were stuck on the border.
