If the law is adopted: whom they are mobilized to the Armed Forces in April 2024

The mobilization bill was approved in the first reading in February. Currently, the Verkhovna Rada must vote for the document in the second reading, after which the President will sign it. In Ukraine, martial law and general mobilization continue. As a result, all military personnel who have recognized as suitable and who have no deferral or armor can call for military service. The UNIAN publication told how the mobilization process could change in April in the case of the adoption of law No. 10449.

In the case of the adoption of the bill, postgraduate students study on the contract can mobilize. Students who receive a second education or re -enroll in a part -time or remote form will also have no delay from the call. Instead, the applicants of professional, professional higher and higher education, who study in day or dual form and gain the level of education are higher than the previous one, will not be able to call. The same applies to doctors and interns on full -time or dual form.

In addition, scientific and pedagogical staff of educational institutions at least 0. 75 will not be subject to conscription. The bill proposes men with disabilities to consider unfit for service. However, citizens who received a disability after the start of a full -scale invasion, without being servicemen, must undergo VLK to confirm the status and degree of disabilities. In addition, the people's deputies decided to remove the status of "restricted" and left only "suitable" and "unsuitable".

All citizens who have previously been recognized as limited to the service will have to go through the VLK within nine months after the document is adopted. Earlier, lawyer Andriy Mezhiritsky reported that some men with disabilities may not be called to the Armed Forces. According to him, this disease eliminates or limit the possibility of conscription.
