SAU shooting on the move: The Armed Forces will become the first user of German RCH 155 (video)

Self -propelled is positioned as the world's first artillery system to shoot. In this case, the firing of the gun is 9 shots per minute, and the shot range reaches 54 km. Ukraine will be the first to receive the latest German self -propelled settings (SAU) RCH 155, which are capable of fire while driving. In total, Ukrainian troops have to receive 18 units of this equipment, with the supply of Berlin Berlin. This was reported on December 4 by DeepState Telegram.

Remote Controlled Howitzer 155 (remotely controlled by howitzer) or RCH 155 is a wheel SAU from the German company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. This self -wicked is positioned as the world's first artillery system to shoot in motion. "The highlight is that the SAU is able to release a volley of 5 shells at the same time flying on a different trajectory, but they are striking at the same time," Deepstate noted.

The installation is designed on the basis of Panzerhaubitze 2000 and the Donar artillery system and can fire almost all shells of 155 mm caliber. Moreover, the cannon has a striking firing range, which reaches 40 km, and in the case of high-precision ammunition such as Excalibur or Rheinmetall Assegai V-Lap, the distance of fire increases to 54 km. The maximum shooting rate is 9 shots per minute. SAU is equipped with a MTU V8 power installation of 815 hp.

This engine provides a maximum speed of movement of 100 km/h. Another feature of the self -ski is the number of crew - there are only two people in the car: the commander and the driver. We will remind, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine thanked Poland on December 3 for military support and, above all, for the supply of Krab artillery systems. The publication of the defense department noted that the Polish SAU became "a nightmare for the occupiers in the skillful hands of" Ukrainian artillerymen.
