Driving ships: Why the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation is kept away from Crimea-Pletenchuk

According to the Navy representative, the enemy leads active intelligence and patrol in the airspace over the Crimean. However, yet nothing indicates that the Russians have at least some hope of returning the fleet. Russia continues to keep the combatable ship composition of the Black Sea Fleet away from the Ukrainian defense forces, concentrating it at the base of Novorossiysk. This was stated by the representative of the Ukrainian Navy, the captain of the 3rd rank Dmitry Pletenchuk, on the TV.

According to the speaker of the Navy, in the Black and Azov seas, ships of the Russian Federation avoid approaching the zones controlled by Ukraine, but active patrolling is conducted by Russian aviation, especially over the western and southern coast of Crimea. In addition, the protection of base points in the sea uses a Russian submarine equipped with winged missiles. However, it is not currently not playing a rocket carrier, but is used to protect other ships.

Russian aviation is actively conducting intelligence missions and patrols in the airspace over the Crimean. Such activity is aimed at protecting the territory adjacent to the peninsula, and control of airspace in the west and south. Answering the question of the possibility of restoring the command points of the Russian Federation in Crimea, Pletenchuk noted that even if such information is confirmed, it will look like a tactic for complicating the work of Ukrainian intelligence.

The fact is that the blows to the Black Sea Fleet and other facilities have previously demonstrated the vulnerability of Crimean objects, and there is currently no evidence that the Russian Federation plans to have a full return of the Black Sea Fleet to Crimea. "Such cases have already taken place. In fact, if this information is officially confirmed, it will look a little strange. But it does not have to be related to any plans for possible return to Crimea.
