Mobilization in Ukraine: Rules for volunteers in the Armed Forces have changed

The procedure of voluntary mobilization has changed in Ukraine. In the Tax Code, they told step by step how it happens and gave some advice to men. In Ukraine, the rules of recruitment in the Armed Forces have changed against the background of increased mobilization. On June 19, the Kharkiv Regional Shopping Center explained new nuances. The new changes came into force on June 10.

Now all Ukrainians who will voluntarily choose the position and the unit for mobilization will fall into special battalions of the reserve after passing the VLK. There, recruits will undergo basic general military training (BZVP) or will be sent to it to training centers. After the exercises, volunteers will be sent to the selected units. This will be done in accordance with the recommendation letters - by order of the commander -in -chief.

The new mechanism makes it impossible for the "false" distribution during the issue from training centers and other "casuals". Now, even if the recruit is sent there to BZVP, it will already have the status of a military serviceman of the reserve battalions. Step by step, volunteers take the following stages: the military enlistment office emphasized that it is important to control the status of priority of the unit and the issuance of a letter of recommendation.

"Please note that these changes apply to both priority and non -priority units of the Armed Forces and those volunteers who join the army on mobilization," the Tax Code said. For those who go to serve in the Armed Forces under the contract, the mechanism has not changed. The mobilization procedure in units not in the Armed Forces remains individual.
