Johnson warned against trying to negotiate with Putin and urged not to be afraid of "humiliation" of the dictator

Boris Johnson Prime Minister Boris Johnson called on world leaders and partners of Ukraine not to negotiate with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. During a briefing with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev, Johnson urged the world community to increase Ukraine's support, not to weaken sanctions against Russia and to fight Russian lies around the world.

The video of the day he emphasized that if the head of the Kremlin regime succeeds, it will be a signal to all autocrats in the world that borders can be changed by force, and no country will be safe around the perimeter of Russia. The Prime Minister of British also warned against attempts to "normalize" relations with Putin and noted that Russia is experiencing tremendous losses in Ukraine and cannot advance in the Donbass.

“Now is not the time to promote some empty negotiation plan with someone who is simply not interested. You cannot negotiate with a bear while he eats your leg, or with a robber who pressed you to the ground. And to worry about the "humiliation" of Putin is worth no more than the "humiliation" of a bear or a robber. Everything that matters is to restore Ukraine's territorial integrity, ”he said. The British Prime Minister came to Kyiv with an unannounced visit on August 24.

This is his third visit to Ukraine since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia. Johnson will leave his post in less than two weeks. On August 18, Vladimir Zelensky's bilateral meetings with the UN Secretary General Guterrish and Turkish President Recep Taiip Erdogan, as well as a three -way summit, which lasted 40 minutes, took place in Lviv on August 18. Erdogan, who had seen before the head of the Kremlin regime, suggested that Ukraine and Russia negotiations in Istanbul.
