The National Taxi Council (NST) sent an open letter to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. In it, entrepreneurs ask the government to give up the idea of coercion taxparks to buy cars of the Russian collection like Lada or "Moskvich". This initiative was made by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the Russian Federation - thus planning to stimulate autopome and the market after a rapid fall in 2022. Due to taxparks, cars in Russia can increase.
However, business is not delighted with this idea because of a shortage of budget cars in the market and their significant rise in price (70-80%) over the last year. The average cost of a car for taxi increased to 1. 8-2 million rubles ($ 19,600-21 800), but there are almost no available machines up to $ 10,000. Previously, 200,000 cars have been purchased in the Russian Federation to update taxparks, now only about 40,000. New rules can lead to bankruptcy companies and a taxi price rise in price.
