The head of the German Defense Ministry Boris Pistorius will soon receive "Green Light" from the Budget Committee of the German Parliament. Sources have also been reported that, if necessary, Ukraine can get 8, 8 billion euros in the coming years. According to journalists, the allocated money is not contained in the regular defense budget or in a special fund of 100 billion euros, created for the re -equipment of the Armed Forces of Germany.
It should be noted that on March 29, Germany and the Netherlands issued a joint statement stated that they would continue to assist Ukraine. It is about financial, military assistance, as well as the preparation of Ukrainian military servicemen. The statement states that countries are going to find ways for joint purchases of ammunition for Ukraine. The government also intends to strengthen sanctions against Russia.
First of all, new restrictions will be about the opportunities of the Russian Federation to bypass the sanctions already entered by the West. It should be noted that on March 27, the German edition of Der Spiegel wrote that Berlin plans to increase Ukraine's support 5 times. First of all, the money will go away with air defense, caterpillar armored vehicles and ammunition for German weapons and artillery systems.
