The Russian Federation first showed a photo of a new unmanned aerial vehicle that uses wholesalers. This was reported by Ukrainian radio technology specialist Sergey Beskrestnov (Sergey Flesh) in his Telegram. According to Sergei Flesh, Russian invaders raise funds to buy such UAVs in all directions. According to them, one such drone costs $ 1,200.

In the published photo, you can see a massive optic cable coil, as well as the PG-7VL warheads mounted at a small angle. Earlier, the expert also noted that such UAVs are suitable for cases where high image quality is required or the target is needed, covered with electronic warfare at all ranges. According to him, such products should be in every crew for emergency situations.

According to Sergei Flesh, Ukrainian developers demonstrated the first flights on the fiber in 2022, but then this decision did not aroused interest. Then such a project was presented on the hackathon of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. After the publications about the found trophy drone on the fiber from the Kherson direction, several groups of developers again took up this technology and brought their products to potential readiness for mass production.

"And in the series and in mass use on the front, the product launched the enemy. Unfortunately, this is a trend of the whole war. We are the first to come up, they are more likely to scale," the expert said. Recall that in August this year, the Russians showed a video of the use of new drones "Prince Vandal Novgorod" in Kursk region, which use wholesalers. Earlier, in March, the Ukrainian company "Dronarnia" demonstrated a test of the FPV-Drone "Bandryk-Strichka", which also works on fiber cable.
