China could stop the war in Ukraine with one phone call - President of Finland

According to Alexander Stubba, Beijing could win Putin's "aggressive and colonial war" and thus demonstrate his leadership on the world stage. Finland President Alexander Stubb said Russia's dependence on China has reached such a level that Beijing could end the war in Ukraine if he wanted. Stubb told this in an interview with Bloomberg, published on July 3. "Currently, Russia depends so much on China that one phone call from Si Jinping's head could resolve this crisis," Stubb said.

He added: "If Si Jinping stated: 'It is time to start peace talks', Russia would have to do it. They will not have another choice. " President of Finland emphasized that China wins from the cessation of "aggressive and colonial war" Putin in Ukraine. "China must defend international rules related to territorial integrity and sovereignty," Stubb said. "That's the right solution. And it will also demonstrate China's leadership.

" At the same time, Stubb disappeared with the proposal of Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who he posted to the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky during his visit to Kiev, about the ceasefire favorable for the Russian Federation. "There can now be no question of insisting on the ceasefire. True peace talks are needed. The only thing Russia understands is power. Therefore, the more we can help Ukraine now, the faster the war will end," Stubb emphasized.

The President of Finland also called on Europe to strengthen Ukraine's support, while strengthening its own defense capability in both traditional military means and in the field of hybrid war with the Russian Federation. In addition, the President is convinced that Europe has to create a plan to counteract hybrid attacks, which will include the restoration of systems after attacks and streamlining communications to resist the Kremlin with the sole front.

He noted that Ukraine needs both material and political support, including strengthening the course of EU and NATO membership. According to Stubb, Europe should switch to the "wartime economy" by combining orders for ammunition and weapons to provide its defensive industry for a long -term perspective.
