Today, on August 29, the first stage of the Artemis program (Artemis) will start, in which NASA plans to plant astronauts for the month already in 2025. Today, NASA plans for the first time to launch the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, which is considered the most powerful rocket of all existing ones. The launch will take place at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 8:33 local time (15:33 in Kiev). NASA Video Day will take an online start-up broadcast. Start - at 13:30.

We have talked about careful preparation for the mission and especially difficult for the last few weeks in this material. The purpose of the mission is to bring the SLS into the Orion Capsule. The flight will be unmanned - Orion should fly the moon and return to the ground in October. In addition, Orion will launch 10 cubic meters, each of which will go to the monthly orbit.
