Consolidation of international support and increased pressure on the Russian Federation: a meeting with the Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada was held at the Presidential Office

The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Igor Zhovkva met with the Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada David Angelle. Igor Zhovkva congratulated Canada on the beginning of chairmanship in the Seven Group. Ukraine is counting on the active position of this country for the sake of consolidation of international support to achieve just and long peace.

“It is important to increase the sanction pressure on the aggressor country and to implement restrictive measures, especially against the Russian shadow fleet. The key is also the coordination at the G7 level in combating Russian propaganda and the use of frozen Russian assets for the needs of Ukraine, ”said the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office. During the meeting, they paid special attention to the continuation of the implementation of the bilateral security agreement.
