"Outrageous": Romania's Foreign Ministry recognized that the war in Ukraine had affected their country (video)

Romanian Foreign Minister Luminitsa Sobeska noted that the Russian Federation is breaking the Romanian airspace and jeopardizing the country's inhabitants. The war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine touched Romania directly. This was stated by Romanian Foreign Minister Luminitsa Sobesk at the Conference of the Center for Analysis of European Policy (CEPA) on September 27.

Luminitsa Sobeska spoke about the fall of the UAV fragments in their country, similar to those that Russians attack Ukrainian port infrastructure on the Danube. "This is very serious, and it is a risk for our citizens," the head of the foreign policy department said. The Foreign Minister emphasized that the mentioned incident is a violation of Romania's airspace.

The minister also mentioned that the Romanian authorities "strongly condemned" all the strikes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukrainian civil infrastructure. "The safety situation in our region is deteriorating . . . The fact that Russia has been doing in our region lately is outrageous," said Sobeska.

Sobeska also stated the need to continue to assist Ukraine, and also noted that Romania supports the "formula of peace", proposed by President Vladimir "Ukrainians not only defend their country, they also protect us, our security, our freedom," the minister said. We will remind, on the night of September 26 the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation damaged the checkpoint between Ukraine and Romania. The hostile attack lasted two hours. Due to the joining of the UAV there was a fire of vehicles.
