Cars that were parked nearby were also injured. As you can see in the video, the building is almost completely destroyed by fire. Firefighters arrived at the scene. However, officially in the Ministry of Emergencies of the Chechen Republic did not publish any statements regarding this event.
The regiment, which is located in the shawl, was formed in 2017 from the former 17th Motorized Rifle Brigade. Since 2022, this regiment has been actively involved in the war against Ukraine. The same year, the media wrote that the chief of staff of Lieutenant Colonel Andriy Bezlyudko was liquidated in the Crimea. In particular, in 2014 he moved to the side of the enemy.
In May 2022, Ukrainian intelligence reported that several units in the 70th Motorized Rifle Regiment of Russia openly refused to participate in the war. They also demanded to return them to the place of permanent deployment, but the command tried to hide such a situation in the army. Recently, journalist Andriy Tsaplienko reported that it was in this regiment that foreign mercenaries were fighting.
