Why do Russians install FPV drones on shock UAVS PRUNIA-2: Experts explained (photo)

To spread: Recently, a specialist in communication systems Sergei "Flash" Beskrestnov published footage from the chamber of the Ukrainian drone, where you can see how Russian UAV "Molnia-2" acts as a carrier for the FPV-Drone. About it writes Defense-ua. com. To install such a drone on the "lawn", the occupiers had to remove the upper part of the fuselage. The decision to use Dron Kamikadze to deliver another drone-Kamikadze seems strange, but not devoid of meaning, the authors write.

Usually, as basic drones for FPV-oules use more expensive reusable UAVs, equipped with repeating. However, in this case, an inexpensive "Kamikadze" "Molnia-2" was adapted for this purpose. And as a carrier it can be reused. The second drone can act as a relay. Although the distance of the "Prayer-2" flight is more than 30 km, in this configuration it is unlikely to be able to fly so far.

The most likely use is the delivery of the FPV-aroma directly to the battlefield or directly outside the front line. This helps keep the FPV-free battery charge, allowing it to look for goals for a longer time. And this approach makes it possible to use lighter batteries, which will increase the speed and combat efficiency of FPV-oules.

Mounted on "Prayer-2", apparently, is a model of FPV from the family "Squper", which is actively used by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and has been repeatedly used in the Ukrainian rear. Probably, the modernized version of "Squper-VMF" will be installed on Russian naval UAVs. The UAV "Molnia-2" is made literally from sticks, which makes it quite cheap and easy to produce. Previously, the Russians managed to install a fighting part in the form of an anti-tank mine TM-62.
