Earlier, Zelensky dismissed Yuri Sodol from the post of Commander of the Joint Forces after complaints from Ukrainian fighters for the incompetence of the general. General Yuri Sodol, who had previously erupted the scandal over the complaint of the headquarters of the Azov Brigade Brigade Bogdan Krotevich for his incompetence and responsibility for the loss of Ukrainian territories, freed himself from the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the Military Medical Commission.

This was reported by MP Marian Bezugla. "And General Sodol was released from the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the VLK," the deputy wrote on Telegram. Earlier, General Sodole's intention was to be released from service to the Armed Forces for health reasons was also reported by Ukrainian activist and blogger Sergey Sternenko, citing information from his own sources.

General Yuri Sodol was appointed Commander of the Joint Forces on February 11, 2024, when Alexander Syrsky held the position of commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces instead of Valery Zaluzhny and in the leadership of the Armed Forces there were personnel permutations.

On June 24, the head of the Azov Brigade Staff Bogdan Krotevich applied for DBR for one of the generals, accusing him of exceeding his official powers and incompetence in the command of the troops, which led to the loss of large part of the territory of Ukraine. The name of the general in the post of Korotkevich was not mentioned, but the sources of "Ukrainian Truth" reported that it was about Sodole.

Already on the evening of June 24, Volodymyr Zelensky in the evening address reported that Yuri Sodol would be replaced by Andrey Hnatov as commander of the Joint Forces. On June 28, Bogdan Krotevich received a response from the DBR, which, he said, remained dissatisfied, and on July 26, he announced that the Bureau investigators had not opened a case on his statement.
