Rumors of Territories Exchange at Trump and Putin's Meeting: The media showed that Ukraine could lose

To spread: The international publication has published a map where the areas of Ukraine are allegedly shown, which can discuss Trump and Putin at the meeting. At the same time, the head of the CPD noted that no media could have such information. Discussion of a possible "territorial exchange" between Ukraine and Russia to end the war started by Moscow can be a topic of a meeting of Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. According to Newsweek, the map they published shows the areas that may be discussed.

The publication notes that during the meeting, Trump and Putin can discuss the following: at the same time the head of the NSDC misinformation center Andriy Kovalenko stated that information about different "plans" and "arrangements" with conditions that appears in different media is fictional. "No media has any plans because there is a completely different process. Less reflexes," Andrey Kovalenko wrote.

On Thursday, August 7, the Kremlin stated that Russia and the USA agreed on a meeting of the meeting, which could take place in the coming days. Later, Putin noted that negotiations could go through the United Arab Emirates. According to Bloomberg, Trump reported allies that he was positive about a possible ceasefire, and Putin could agree to peace talks if they discuss the issue of exchange of territories captured during the invasion.

Earlier, the United States allegedly proposed to recognize Russia's control over fully annexed and partially occupied Ukrainian regions, but Kiev rejected this proposal. Elina Beketova, an expert of the Center for Analysis of European Policy (Cepa), said Newsweek that Ukraine's position is unchanged - the state intends to maintain its independence and territorial integrity enshrined in the Constitution.

Beketova emphasized that Ukraine is set to restore territorial integrity and increase its own military production, counting on the support of Western allies. We will remind, the US president would like to hold a tripartite meeting with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Putin, for his part, stated that "in principle" did not reject negotiations with Zelensky, but stressed that the conditions have not been created for this.
