Experts called the problem that should be resolved before the spring counter -offensive of the Armed Forces

According to experts, the decisive factor that can determine the result of the Armed Forces counter -offensive is the logistics chains of the event and delivery of ammunition to Ukraine. The US Marine Corps Colonel Mark Kanzian stated that artillery is the most important element of Ukrainian counter -offensive.

In his opinion, it is necessary to solve the problem with the large -scale supply of ammunition from the event so that the Armed Forces can successfully release part of the occupied territory. He stated this in an interview with Newsweek. The Kantsian noted that Western artillery, as well as Himars missile installations, played an important role when the Ukrainian forces "exhaled". "You see it now, you have seen it during the First World War.

Of course, it can change, but artillery is the most important element," he said. In addition, a researcher of the Association for Control of Gabriel Ivelis Rosa Ernandez told reporters that there was no "wonderful weapon" in the war, which would completely turn the situation. However, HIMARS and long -range artillery helped the Armed Forces to start striking targets in the rear of the enemy.

"The great range of reactive volley fire systems, in particular, means the increased ability of the Ukrainian side to affect the warehouses of weapons or the accumulation of Russian troops, weakening the supply lines of the enemy," Ernandez said. She noted that the event is now trying to meet the demand of Ukraine for ammunition. In her opinion, the counter -offensive of the Ukrainian forces that is being prepared depends.

Amy Nelson, a researcher at the Brukings Institute, said the United States is planning to increase the production of howitzers in the long run. She noted that Washington intends to transfer more ammunition to Kiev. "Despite its weak results at the beginning of the war, Russia is studying and making tactical adjustments on the battlefield to try to overcome significant resistance from Ukraine," she said.

Nelson is convinced that logistics and delivery to Ukraine of a large number of ammunition for artillery will help to determine the next phase of war. Earlier, sociologists have calculated how many Ukrainians believe in the victory of the Armed Forces. According to the Deputy Executive Director of KIIS Anton Hrushetsky, the vast majority of Ukrainians categorically exclude the possibility of aggressor.
