They are protected from the Armed Forces: the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were transferred to Berdyansk about 30 helicopters - "Schemes"

Judging by the Planet Labs satellite images, the Russians placed helicopters KA-52, Mi-8 and KA-29. Most are designed to support the Land Forces while defending the Armed Forces. Russia has transferred 20 helicopters to the airfield of the temporarily occupied Berdyansk after the onset of the Armed Forces on the Zaporizhzhya direction. This was reported by the reports of the Scheme project with reference to the Satellite Phone Labs for June 13.

In total, at least 27 helicopters of the Army of Russia are at the airfield. Twenty of them appeared there recently, which is confirmed by other satellite images for May 31. Two aviation experts helped Schemes identify helicopter models.

According to the project, the Russians posted: Avayexpert Anatoly Khrapchinsky noted that most helicopters are designed to support the land wing of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and strengthen protection against the counter -offensive of the Armed Forces. And Mi-8 can be used for evacuation. However, the occupiers will rather use them to prompt the military or equipment closer to the battlefield, the specialist said.

Military expert Mikhail Zhirokhov noted that the Berdyansk airfield is now used as operational. There are parts of the Army Aviation of the Russian Federation, which are based in occupied Crimea. "This is essential for them, because in the conditions of remote base, effective support of the land troops - work on applications is impossible," he said. According to the expert, Russian helicopters in Berdyansk can be used for emergency evacuation of the wounded, the transfer of troops and equipment.
