The Lieutenant General of the Armed Forces reported that more than 3,500 anti-tank mines were laid on the northern borders, 4,500 kilometers of anti-tank moat and 5 thousand trenches were burst. Ukrainian fighters erect new defensive structures every day on the northern borders of Ukraine. To strengthen the Ukrainian borders create concrete structures, carry out mines and equip field fortification.

On January 6, the Commissioner of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Sergei Naev announced in his Telegram channel. "These measures are engaged in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and regional military administrations. The Armed Forces equip field fortification, and the ova equips concrete structures and perform other tasks," the post says.

Naev notes that further measures are being taken to prepare structures for future forces that will come in case of increased threats in this direction. Thus, more than 3500 anti -tank mines were concluded during the week, 4500 kilometers of anti -tank moat and 5 thousand trenches were dug. About 25 concrete firing facilities have already been installed in defensive positions.

Commenting on the work on strengthening the northern border of Ukraine, the commander emphasized that the system of defense borders and positions is multi -peel. According to him, it is built in such a way as to restrain the enemy, to prevent his promotion, and to make him find himself in a disadvantage, where he will fall into the fire bags for mass destruction.
