"Squale of the Glubulf and Drones": Experts found out why the Armed Forces were successfully moving under Kursk

The Ukrainian military skillfully used UAVs and the system of EWS in the Kursk region, but there are other factors of success, experts say. In the Russian Federation, many believe that the forces of Ukraine have advanced in the Kursk region through the use of unmanned aerial vehicles and radio -electronic warfare. The opinions of the experts on this were collected by the CBC News portal.

The Russians argue that the Armed Forces used drones and system of the IEC to suppress Russian surveillance means, and then attack terrestrial objects, moving forward at this time. Some independent observers share this point of view, but also do not exclude that in the Russian Federation they see only part of the wider picture. Thus, the adviser to the study of Russia at CNA Analytical Center Samuel Bendett called the Russian statements plausible.

In this case, the analyst considers UAVs only one of the components of the Armed Forces success, mentioning the role of operational secrecy and an element of surprise. However, according to him, Ukraine is really developing in the field of drones. "We know that Ukraine is ahead of Russia when it comes to developing [these] tactics and techniques," Samuel Bendett said.

The article also gives the opinion of journalist David Exa, who highlights the events in the Kursk region in his column for Trench Art. According to him, in the territory of the Russian Federation Ukrainians apply a new approach to the old method. "It is a flurry of gluten and drones that are coming," David ex explain.

In a comment to the publication, the People's Deputy of Ukraine Oleksiy Goncharenko stated that he was not consecrated in the details of the operation, noting only that the actions of the military were carefully planned. He emphasized that it is necessary to go to the attack where the enemy does not expect it. "This is what made the Armed Forces of Ukraine. If we used new tactics and new technologies, it is definitely a plus," the People's Deputy said.

Several observers also told reporters that the part of the Russian border, where the Armed Forces went on the offensive, was poorly protected. The deputy director of the Russian Program in the US Analytical Democracies Foundation, John Gardy, believes that the Russian border has been guarded by "not the highest quality units".

For his part, a researcher of the Royal Joint Defense Research Institute in the United Kingdom Nick Reynolds is skeptical about the importance of drones and remedies in the events in the Kursk region. According to him, it is unclear how carefully the Ukrainians planned an offensive on the Kursk Arc and to what extent Ukraine was able to combine their tactics for using UAVs and systems of RB with planned maneuvers.

Recall that the Russians claim that the Ukrainian military has advanced in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation thanks to "technological know-how". First of all, it is about the massive use of HRS systems. According to servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, in the border areas of Russia disappeared before the towers of cellular communication were destroyed.
