Charging stations make it possible for the military to use equipment in the war ...

"Even tank": Ukrainians have created for the SCAT universal stations (video)

Charging stations make it possible for the military to use equipment in the war zone, including the Starlink Satellite Internet, without relying on noisy generators. Ukrainian developers Yevgeny Alekseev and Andriy Melnichenko have created a charging station for military scat, which works in extreme conditions and can charge both batteries for the drone and a car. The creators told about it in an interview with Ukrainian UKRAINIAN Underdogs.

Yevgeny Alekseev said that before the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian War was the head of the service of the company, which brought electric vehicles. His business partner Andriy Melnichenko, for his part, was engaged in repair of batteries. With the beginning of a full -scale invasion of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, men have a question how and what they will do in the new conditions.

"We had the question of what to do next, because all our batteries were in the warehouse in Obolon (Kiev), where at the beginning of the war very often" flew ". So we could not work, so we decided to do charging stations," Alekseev said . The first Potbank managed to release in the second month of a full -scale war. It was a portable personal technique for charging rays, sights and thermal imagers.

After that, a new task has emerged for the developers: to create charging stations that could feed the Starlink terminals under combat. For them a charging station with a remote inverter was created. It was stationary and not quite convenient for use when the military changed the location of satellite Internet terminals. That is why Alekseev and Melnichenko were engaged in the development and implementation of the "third generation" return with a built -in protected inverter.

"It continues to work even when external power disappears. Therefore, their military is now put between the generator and the Starlink. Thus saves time to restart the Internet," - explained Andriy Melnichenko. He added that even civilian cars and military vehicles can be used to feed such a charging station. "This thing makes it possible in any situation to start the car. You can even start a tank if two of these devices (charging stations-ed. ) Welt.

If the tank is working properly, after that it will start," Melnichenko said. "To develop such a first serial model, we took one and a half months. In April we already sold the first such charging stations. Eventually from the Ministry of Defense received orders for the first industrial sample of such a charging station.

They were engaged in this month, but when they came out for the finished option and presented it , the ministry has changed plans - they have already switched to repair of armored vehicles and such little things were not interesting to them, " - told journalists Yevgeny Alekseev. The new type of return is charged from the sun, car or household socket.

In 15 minutes, the device can be charged 60% of the car engine, and then, when connected to a conventional socket, the full charge is reached in 4 hours. The Potbank also has a strong metal body that protects it from moisture and weighs only 8 kg. The service life of the device is 8 years. Its capacity is 240,000 mAh and can be increased. This return has another superpower: namely, the ability to combine with other devices, which increases its capacity.

According to the inventor, two connected returns can even weld solid metal sheets. "Scat can also charge batteries for drones. One day the military was found a washing machine, connected to the station, launched and was able to wash things," Andrei Melnichenko added, talking about the equipment. The developer also added that the price of such a charging station for the military is $ 450. For civilians, each return will cost about $ 100 more expensive. These funds go to development and revision.

Another development that helps the military at the front is the Bandera Power charging station ("Bandera's Power"), which is made by the Vinnytsia Promatomatics Group under the leadership of Mikhail Ganchuk. According to him, modern war requires efficiency and autonomy from the military. To do this, they need gadgets, such as phones, tablets with maps, thermal imagers and radios. However, these devices need constant charging. Ordinary savings are not always powerful and autonomous enough.

In this regard, a new technology was developed - a block of autonomous illumination and multi -channel charging called Bandera Power. This indispensable block weighs 20 kilograms and has an LED flashlight. It is equipped with 9 USB ports suitable for different types of devices and has a charge indicator. Bandera Power is designed for use in the checkpoint and bomb shelves. It is able to charge up to 60 phones at the same time and has the ability to charge the radio.

However, it should be noted that this unit has some disadvantages, including its weight and limited turning resistance. That is why the developers decided to create a second version of Bandera Power charging station. The technique has gained a new appearance with a camouflage and waterproof shell. In addition, the charging station body is covered with powder paint. The device can be worn by both the handle and the shoulder. The weight of the device is 6.

5 kg, but its capacity is 180,000 mAh, which indicates its high power. Unlike other peerbank, which often contain pressed sand inside to create a high energy illusion, this device has a true power. It contains a compartment with a "fork" for charging, as well as 6 different types of USB connectors for charging other devices. The device is equipped with a 7W LED flashlight and has a socket to the car cigarette lighter.

It is also equipped with 4 USB connectors for fast charging and has a sufficient capacity to work for 3-4 days. In addition, a 220 V socket with a power of 150 watts is added, which can be used to charge radio stations, electrical tools and other devices. It is important to note that the device does not have a fan to increase its reliability, and also contains a 12 V car socket with a LED lantern that can be connected.

We will remind, in early September NSU fighters received an improved charging station for drones and communication. With the help of a 2 kW station, the defense fighters can charge the equipment simply in the field. The military helped the developers to eliminate the shortcomings of past versions. The first such stations were received for testing in the summer of 2022 from the developer - volunteer and TV presenter Boris Zakharov.
