"Nail in the Empire": NSDC will consider sanctions against 2 thousand propagandists of the Russian Federation

The list of sanctions, bloggers, journalists, as well as media resources who have ignited hatred of Ukrainians since the 2014 war. The Interagency Working Group (MRG) on the implementation of state sanction policy has approved the transfer of data to the NSDC, on the basis of which personal sanctions against almost two thousand pro -Russian propagandists will be introduced. This was reported by the press service of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC).

The publication states that information about the propagandists was provided to the NAPC of the Security Service of Ukraine. According to the head of the agency Alexander Novikov, more than 2 thousand people can fall under sanctions. "This is another nail in the coffin of the propaganda machine of the last empire and a reminder that we will not miss a single person who has ignited hatred of Ukrainians since the beginning of the 2014 war of 2014," Novikov said.

It is noted that the list of persons who fall under sanctions include citizens of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, other countries, as well as representatives of the so -called LDNR. Among them are singers, athletes, stage artists, theater and cinema, other cultural figures, bloggers, journalists, producers and editors of propaganda media resources. TV and radio companies, publishers, museums, their executives and owners will also fall under sanctions.

"All of them spread narratives of the Kremlin propaganda, hatred of the Ukrainian people, make" cultural "measures in support of war in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, in other ways support the bloody war," - the message reads. The NAPC added that the SBU plans to submit a sanction package for consideration by the NSDC in the near future, after which it will be put into effect by the Presidential Decree.

Earlier it was reported that on December 1, the NSDC meeting was held on further activity in the territory of Ukraine of the UOC -MP. According to President Vladimir Zelensky, lists of sanctions with the names of those clergymen who were involved in the activities of the Russian special services in the territory of Ukraine will be published in the near future.
