Rudyk and Zhivitsa reported the creation of a political organization of supporters of independence of the Smolensk region in Warsaw in a close alliance with the future Belarus - the Smolensk Republican Center.

They stated that they wanted to reproduce "independent Smolensk statehood in a close alliance with future free Belarus and other countries, whose territories were previously part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Commonwealth. " The next step, Vladislav Zhivitsa assured, will be the creation of a combat unit of supporters of independence of the Smolensk Republic within the Belarusian Regiment of Kalinovsky, which is fighting on the side of Ukraine.

In his speech, he noted that "Russia should be destroyed", and also stated that "the principality of Smolensk was perfectly without Moscow. " Jan Rudyk stressed that the "de -occupation" of Smolensk in the war of Russia against Belarus should first take place. Thus, Vladislav Zhivitsa was the only incumbent deputy of the regional parliament in Russia, who openly advocated the independence of his region. Answering the questions of correspondents about whether other regions of the Russian Federation can gain independence, the speakers stated that the successes of the movement for the independence of the Smolensk region can become a good case that will affect the actions of supporters of sovereignty of these subjects of the Russian Federation.

Shortly after the press conference was completed and the speakers presented the flag of the independent Smolensk region, Zhivitsa reported that his legal representative in Smolensk was called with the FSB and stated that the criminal case against the deputy would not be forced to wait. The term of the mandate policy ends in September 2023.

Vladislav Zhivitsa is an acting deputy of the Smolensk Regional Duma, who emigrated from Russia to head the foreign political center of the Smolensk liberation movement. However, due to its activities in defense of the Catholic temple and the community, as well as the exposing of corruption of the regional leadership of the party, in 2021 it was expelled from it and its factions.
