Applied "Smerch": Russians struck Slavic TPP rockets (photo)

The invaders fired the structures of the Slavic TPP of the Donbassenergo, damaging the territory of the object. Russian invaders struck the Slavic TPP from the Slavic Reactive Fire Reactive System. Volodymyr Proskunin, Deputy Head of the Nikolaev MVA, informed the details of the publication "Public Donbas". The attack took place on May 5 in the morning at 10:35. The invaders fired at the Slavic TPP of the Donbassenergo. "A number of objects in the station are damaged," said Vladimir Proskunin.

The official added that the Russian invaders decided to attack four cape missiles with Smerch RSSL and one fugas. There were no victims as a result of the shelling. The Slavic thermal power plant has been built since 1951. It was included in the list of especially important objects of electricity of Ukraine on July 28, 2003. In 2014, the power plant was in the war zone. On July 2-4, 2014, the production facilities and equipment of the power plant were damaged to Slavtes.

In connection with the evacuation and in order to preserve the life and health of the station staff on May 28, 2022, it was decided to stop the Slavic TPP. On the morning of September 17 of that year, the Russian military fired the station. The attack damages the equipment. The fire that happened was eliminated. In the city of Nikolaevka, in connection with shelling began interruptions with water supply.
