The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are very afraid of the Drones of the Armed Forces "Baba Yaga" and threaten to destroy them with a detector

Kapkan acoustic detector will soon be tested and shows whether it can handle heavy drones. The Tallamho design office developed the Kapkan acoustic detector. As stated in the CB, it will be intended to disable the drones of the Armed Forces, TASS writes. According to the Russian news agency, the detector is capable of closing the circuit of the electrodetonator in case of detection of UAV or other equipment used by defenders of Ukraine.

The KB said that Kapkan will be used primarily against the drones of Baba Yaga type, as well as other drones of such configuration. They noted that the detector is able to recognize the sounds made by any military equipment. In Tallamho, it is said that they developed a detector on request from the army of the Russian Federation. The acoustic Kapkan detector works as follows: in the event of a sound issued by the technique, the function determination is activated.

After setting the optimal distance, the electrical detonator is closed. In order for the detector to work, it must be installed in the way of passing the equipment. One source reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have problems when it comes to attacks of the Armed Forces with the help of heavy UAVs. "In the area of your own, the urgent problem of finding effective means of eliminating Ukrainian heavy drones," the media writes.

The source noted that Babu Yaga was difficult to eliminate at night. This requires night vision devices that not all Russian soldiers have. This drone is controlled by satellite communications, so the means of radio electronic struggle against it are powerless. Earlier, we wrote that the expert evaluated Baba Yaga's drone with laser ammunition. A new laser gun ammunition enables UAV to destroy the enemy from a height that is unattainable for small arms, says a specialist.
