During the war, the organization concluded that the existing decisions did not meet all the needs of the military, and therefore began work on its own aircraft. They consider the most successful model "boomerang" - a small drone with a fixed arrow wing. On April 6, the team posted on its Telegram channel a video dedicated to the test of this drone. "Boomerang" successfully flew into the sky with the help of a stretch launcher, and after a few minutes of flight landed to the ground.
As Alex shared, the tests are necessary for the drone of the Armed Forces. "It's a difficult process that takes time," he emphasized. - "We have gone a big way and overcame many obstacles, and we think we have been able to achieve our goal. But there are always more optimal ways, so we continue to develop our drones made by Ukrainians in Ukraine.
" Boomerang can spend 65 minutes in the air, moving at a speed of more than 65 km/h and providing communication at a distance of up to 15 kilometers from the ground control station with constant transmission of video operator. The price of one complex is $ 6000, it includes 2 aircraft and a land control station. Currently, engineers can collect 6 drones per month, but plan to expand production to 20 units.
"The greatest interesting thing of this drone is that we can print it on 3D printers, which allows you to scale production capacity, as well as optimize processes," Alex added. Earlier in the NGO "Ukrainian Messerschmites" told how drones for the Armed Forces make. Five parts of the case are printed on a 3D printer and then glued together and covered with a strong fiberglass. Next, a onboard computer, homemade radio, cameras and flight controller are installed on the apparatus.
