German Taurus rockets are similar to Storm Shadow, but have several advantages that will further complicate life for the Russian Federation. Taurus will have a flight range of about 337 km (210 miles) - and this is almost a third further than Storm Shadow and Scalp. It should be added that there is a restriction in the world of rockets that supply other countries at 300 km. Storm shadow/scalp probably have this restriction.

Without export restrictions, the range of three missiles exceeds 500 km. In this way, the air forces are likely to be able to strike in the south of the occupied Crimea, where British-French may not get without the risk of crews. The Taurus also has a turbo fan engine, not a turbojet. In the turbojet engine, the air gets inside, where it burns and then comes out of it.

In turbo fan - a more modern type of engine - there is a fan in the front that blows air through the engine core, making it more efficient for a given weight and power.
