Russians in 2024 plan to produce 2.7 million shells - GUR

According to General Vadim Skibitsky, the ambitious plans of the Russian military to produce a large number of shells require the modernization of existing production facilities in the Russian Federation or the creation of additional new lines. The Russian military-industrial complex has huge plans for 2024-plans to produce 2. 7 million shells.

This was reported in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine news agency Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Major General Vadim Skibitsky. According to him, in 2023 the Russians released about 2 million shells 122 mm and 152 mm calibers. However, the ambitious plans of the Russian military, according to the general, require the modernization of existing production facilities or the creation of additional new lines.

Regarding the supply of ammunition from allies of Russia, according to GUR, the invaders have already received 1. 5 million shells 122 mm and 152 mm from the DPRK. "But these are ammunition from the 70's, 80's. Half does not work there, and the rest needs before applying them, or recovery or checking," Skibitsky notes. Instead, North Korea seeks to receive military technologies from Russia for its military-industrial complex, in particular for nuclear weapons, the manufacture of submarines, etc.

"And here it is necessary to call on Russia, because the whole world is fighting for non -proliferation, and Russia is openly working in this direction in return for receiving additional ammunition, missiles and other weapons," - states the deputy chief of GUR. As for Belarus, according to General, from there, Russia has already taken out almost everything - to take nothing there. "Belarusians are trying to restore their production now.

But these are not the volumes we think about," Skibitsky emphasized. Also, Ukrainian intelligence became known that in February 2024 the Russians planned to release 130 missiles "Iskander", "Caliber", X-101, X-32 and "Dagan". They created a center that deals with the replacement of foreign components, especially the electronic database, on elements of Russian production. "They are worse in quality, not so perfect, but allow us to produce weapons," the general emphasized.

Currently, Russians use rockets made in the fourth quarter of 2023, that is, almost from the conveyor. However, Skibitsky noted, rockets cease to meet the stated characteristics, their quality is significantly deteriorating. In addition, according to Ukrainian intelligence, the aggressor state has about 300 combat aircraft. However, as the General notes, they are very afraid of Western weapons, which comes and should come from Ukrainian allies and partners.

"F-16 is one of the tools that will allow, in particular, to exterminate Russian aviation, which is used to apply bomb blows . . . Then there will no longer be 75 enemy bombs in Avdiivka in one day or in the crusts where Russians were thrown, for example, 35 -45 Bomb one of our small bridgehead, "Skibitsky emphasizes.
