Share: Italian senator and leader of the local liberal party "Diya" Carlo Calenda made himself a tattoo with Ukrainian symbols, which he showed off on social networks. Carlo Kalenda got a tattoo of the coat of arms of Ukraine on his wrist. He posted the photo on his page on the X network on November 8. "And now we have engraved it in our hearts forever," added the short caption of the politician.

Carlo Calenda has repeatedly expressed support for Ukraine and came here during the full-scale invasion of Russia. Thus, in December 2022, the Italian senator visited Lviv, where he became the ambassador of the NEZLAMNI rehabilitation center, the city council reported. "I will continue to support Ukraine, because the future of all of us depends on your victory.

It is important for us to convey information to the Italians so that they understand the real situation here, with you, how courageous and strong you are," Kalenda said during a visit to Lviv. Also in 2022, he came to Kyiv, where he spoke about the fact that Ukrainians will not surrender and capitulate. The politician also repeatedly expressed the position that Ukraine needs to be provided with the necessary weapons and other resources so that it can resist Russian aggression.

A few days ago, on November 4, Carlo Calenda, as Ansa reports, sharply responded to the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, because of her statements regarding the collapse of part of the medieval Torre dei Conti tower in Rome. Then, while commenting on the incident, the Russian woman announced the sums that Italy provides as aid to Ukraine, and "prophesied" that the whole country would collapse, because the government "senselessly" spends taxpayers' money.

"Zakharova is an abomination. We need to understand who the Russians are: they deport Ukrainian children to the Russian Federation, kill civilians, and that's how they talk about tragedies like this one," Kalenda said. It is worth noting that the coat of arms of Ukraine is not the first tattoo of the Italian senator. He is known to have, in particular, a shark tattoo, which Kalenda is very fond of, and a tattoo that symbolizes his party.
