Alexei and Svetlana were in a minibus during the shelling, which caught fire from the fall of the rocket fragments. There are two minor children left without parents. The shelling of Kiev during a massive attack of the Russian Federation in Ukraine with drones and Balism, on January 18, took away the life of a married couple from Vinnytsia region. This was reported by local resident Sonia Golovaniuk on Facebook.

According to her, a hostile blow killed a young couple from the city of Khmelnyk of Vinnytsia region: Svetlana and Alexei. "They had a wonderful family with two underage children: Vlad and Anna," Sonia Golovaniuk wrote. The information about the death of the spouse was confirmed in a comment to the "public" chairman of the Khmelnytsky City Council Mykola Yurchyshyn. A minibus was lit in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital, in which Alexei and Svetlana were at that time.

Employees of the SES of Ukraine completed the rescue work on the evening of January 18, according to the latest data it is known about three dead and three victims. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) Timur Tkachenko reported that two men of 43 and 25 years and a 41-year-old woman were killed as a result of a ballistic attack on Kiev. The Attorney General's office said that the guard of the food establishment and a man and a woman who were in a minibus were killed.
