Ukrainian "Dandelion" against the Drones-killer from the Russian Federation: how the new system will protect the equipment of the Armed Forces

The new dome edine is able to "stuff" Russian drones at 868-915 MHz. In Ukraine, they created a means of electronic struggle of dome type "Kulbaba", which protects vehicles from FPV-non-Spouse. The developer Roman Ruban wrote about it on his Facebook page on Monday, January 15. He worked on a dome rebel for several months. The result was two designers for protection against Russian drones-Kamikadze: "Dandelion 100" (recently received updates), and "Dandelion 150".

According to Roman Ruban, he developed the equipment primarily for the protection of evacuation transport and "cover" of personnel during movement. "I really wanted to develop protection for our boys and girls on the front so that you could protect against drones-Kamikadze," the creator wrote. In one of the posts, the developer wrote that the dome Reb protects the military and equipment from FPV-pings operating at 868-915 MHz.

The Dandelion 100 system has already been even tested by the Ukrainian military at the front. According to Roman Ruban, it was used in intelligence missions. He even showed the results of his equipment, publishing two photos. They show Russian drones with ammunition. However, because of the successful effect of the dome, they did not reach the goals - cars and positions of the Armed Forces - and did not explode.

Roman Ruban noted that the Russians were likely to use drones in which the mass of the battery exceeds the mass of ammunition, as indicated by their position after falling. This indirectly indicates that the invaders were afraid to approach the positions of the Ukrainian military close and sent there hard -round drones, donating even the capacity of ammunition.

After the Kulbaba 100 system has been modernized, she appeared: the creator also said that his dome edges have the opportunity to expand the frequency spectrum with which he works. "I built a designer that gives the opportunity to protect the transport from the frequencies that" Russian peace "begins to use at the front," Roman Ruban said. Technical development will protect the Ukrainian military and technique from shocks of FPV-pings and drones carrying ammunition, thus reducing the loss of attacks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. And in November 2023 it became known that in Ukraine they created a unique system of detection, which "sees" Russian UAV for 15 km. The idea of ​​creating a system of detection arose from developers in February 2023.
