According to the command, the defenders of the Ukrainian sky managed to intercept 16 out of 17 launched UAVs. The fall of the debris in Kryvorizhzhya a fire occurred at the object of critical infrastructure. On the night of April 12, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with the help of 17 shock unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the ShahED-131/136 type, as well as a controlled X-59 aviation missile.

According to the Armed Forces, the impact drones of the enemy launched from Cape Chauda, ​​in the occupied Crimea, and the rocket was launched from the occupied part of Donetsk region. The forces of defense managed to intercept 16 shock UAVs within the limits of Mykolaiv, Odessa, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia and Khmelnitsky regions.

According to the forces of the South of Ukraine, the attacks of the Russians were aimed at energy infrastructure of different regions of Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders have been air defense for about 5 hours.
