Procurement of the Ministry of Defense: The media found a batch

The media found out that in 2022, the Defense Ministry purchasers purchased winter jackets at the price of the elderly, and on the way from Turkey to Ukraine they went up three times. Investigators received documents that indicate possible violations in the purchase of clothing for the Armed Forces, which are conducted at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. In particular, it turned out that in the fall of 2022, under the guise of winter clothing, they bought summer, which also went up on the road.

Journalists suggest that the ministry employees involved in the purchase. The details were told by the Mirror of the Week. Documents that are in the hands of investigators relate to a contract with the Turkish company Vector Avia Hava Araçlari. It is stated that in 2022 the Defense Ministry decided to buy a batch of winter clothing for the Armed Forces for a total amount of UAH 33 million. Of this amount, $ 22 million - for 233 thousand winter jackets, $ 13 million - for 202 thousand winter pants.

The questions arise when they explored their price and weight. At first glance, the price was quite acceptable, the publication notes: $ 86 for a winter jacket. At the same time, similar jackets of Chinese production, which were supplied from Bulgaria, cost a little more - $ 95. However, the problem was not so in price as in weight. Vector Avia jackets weighed twice as much as similar winter jackets from China. In particular, the corners of Turkish production weighed 1. 1 kg, and Chinese - 2 kg.

So, the authors suggested, this is how the Armed Forces fighters of the Armed Forces of 2022 were met in summer camouflage jackets, not in winter clothes. A number of issues also came up when journalists saw the documentation of one of the parties of clothing that went to the Armed Forces in the fall and winter of 2022. According to documents, on the way from Turkey to Ukraine the party has tripled.

One jacket from a "strange" party at the exit from Turkey cost $ 29/a piece and the total cost of 4900 pieces was 142 thousand. However, according to the documents of Ukrainian customs, the jacket already cost $ 86/a piece, and the total cost of the party was $ 421 thousand. The publication also published information on two more purchases of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which may not be fine.

For example, investigators mentioned poor quality bulletproof vests, who are suspected of two ministry officials. It turned out that in the first months of the invasion of the Russian Federation for the Armed Forces purchased bulletproof vests of the 4th class of protection at the price of 42 thousand UAH. At the same time, the examination showed that the cost of equipment of this class was clearly inflated.

In addition, vegetarian dry -ups for the Armed Forces were also investigated, for which they paid $ 15 million. The Ministry of Defense has concluded a contract with Thanos Technolodzh LLC, which bought soldering at the Turkish company Orta Akdeniz Gumrok Ve Tiacet BM. The price of a set of products, in which the meat was only a pate was 430 UAH. Investigators claim that the total cost of pate, cookies and disposable utensils can hardly be 230 UAH. Bank of beans for 44 UAH/pc. Also too high.

In particular, the Ukrainian Tavriya-B trade network paid 24 UAH/pc for a similar product. In addition, the set shows the labeling of Legurme - the products of the Turkish brand Yayla, which was distributed as a humanitarian assistance by the International Organization of the Red Cross and the Charitable Organization "Step to Hope". It should be noted that in January 2023 the media investigated the purchase of food products for the Armed Forces.

Then they found out that they planned to buy a batch of eggs for $ 17/pc. The Defense Minister Rennikov first assured that it was not about the pieces, but about the kilograms, and then that he did not know about this contract. We remind you that in an interview with Radio Liberty, the Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko stated that in Ukraine, in his opinion, the lowest level of corruption is now at all time of independence.
