According to the President, the Ukrainian legion will be prepared in Poland. Its equipment will be done by international partners. In Poland, a Ukrainian legion will be created. It will be able to enroll citizens of Ukraine on a voluntary basis. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a briefing in Warsaw. According to the Head of State, Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania, there is a very positive experience in creating a joint team.

"And it is on the basis of this experience that we will allow citizens of Ukraine who are in Poland, Lithuania, the EU, voluntarily join the defense of Ukraine," Zelensky said. The President also noted that the Ukrainian legion will be trained in Poland. It will be equipped with partners. At the same time, every citizen of Ukraine who wants to serve in the Legion will be able to sign a contract with the Armed Forces. The parties are currently working on all the nuances of these arrangements.

The Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian name of the Great Hetman Konstantin Ostroh Brigade is a separate brigade of the threefold composition of the countries of the Lublin Triangle. It is intended to participate in international peacekeeping and humanitarian operations.
